Thank yous are the perfect way to show gratitude to guests who came to the wedding and gave their time, money, and/or generous gift. The biggest way to do this with thank yous is to hand write each and every one of them. It may sound like a lot of work if the wedding was a large one, but each guest deserves to be thanked for their support. Handwritten letters make guests feel special and shows they are important to the couple. It also creates a better connection between everyone involved. Do not write a general note and print it to each guest. This does the opposite of a handwritten thank you. Include a note about the gift they gave or the time they gave to be at the wedding. Take note writing in chunks. Try 5 notes a night or similar amount. Also, try splitting it between the couple. This last tip is also great if one spouse does not know the guest very well. Keep a list of who got a thank you as you write. Writing 2 notes to 1 person could be a bit awkward. Happy writing! |
